Robin Schiller

PARTNER
Robin Schiller is a member of the Quebec Bar since 1984.
She obtained her civil law degree from the University of Montreal and practices in the areas of civil litigation and corporate law.
​
Me Schiller has appeared before all levels of the courts of Quebec.
​
Me Schiller is a certified arbitrator and mediator. She is also co-author of "A Casebook of Quebec Business Law", a compendium used to teach legal fundamentals to Dawson College students.
She is the former President of The Lord Reading Law Society and founded its Career Advancement Committee to assist students and lawyers seeking career advice.
Me Schiller has sat on several committees including the English Speaking Section of the Bar of Montreal, the Bar of Montreal Committees of Women in the Profession and the LGBTQ2+ Community Committee.
In 2020, after acting as Treasurer and member of the Montreal Bar Council, she was elected Bâtonnière of the Bar of Montreal. She was the first woman to successfully run for election.

After working with Me De Santis, Me Schiller recognized her passion and dedication to the practice of law which led this dynamic duo to create RJ Avocates.
Jenna De Santis
PARTNER
Jenna De Santis is a member of the Quebec Bar since February 2020.
Me De Santis obtained her Bachelor’s in Law (LL.L) from the University of Ottawa. During her studies, she volunteered ​​at different legal organizations in Montreal, including the Y des femmes de Montréal.
​
Prior to co-founding RJ Avocates, Me De Santis completed her articling with Me Robin Schiller who encouraged her passion for civil litigation and commercial law. As part of her practice, Me De Santis assists clients in various areas of civil law including, protection mandates, applications for protective supervision, drafting wills and contracts, settling estates, and resolving landlord-tenant disputes.
​
Me De Santis has appeared regularly before the Superior Court and the Court of Quebec in courthouses throughout Quebec, and has also represented clients before various tribunals. She is also a certified mediator for the Small Claims Division of the Court of Quebec.
​
Me De Santis has tutored and offered mentorship to law students studying for the Quebec Bar. It is her belief that everyone deserves a supportive environment to navigate through challenges, which is why she is proud to be a part of RJ Avocates, where knowledge and compassion unite.

The Honourable Nicole Duval Hesler
ARBITRATOR
The Honourable Nicole Duval Hesler was the first woman Chief Justice of Quebec. She is a former judge of the Superior Court of Quebec and of the Court of Appeal of Quebec. She served as Chief Justice of the Court of Appeal of Quebec from 2011 to 2020. Justice Duval Hesler is pleased to offer arbitration services in all areas of law, to clients of RJ Avocates.

Suzanne Handman
MEDIATOR
Me Suzanne Handman is a bilingual Mediator and Retired Judge from the Court of Quebec and the Quebec Labour Tribunal. She has extensive experience presiding over mediations in civil, commercial, and labour law, both in the public and private sector.
Me Handman, a member of the Quebec Bar, is an author and a trainer in mediation and is regularly invited to speak at conferences in Europe and in Quebec.

Diane Rimok
NOTARY
Me Diane Rimok is a Montreal Notary practising since 2006. She is fluent in French and English.
She specializes in Wills, Estates, Powers of Attorney and Protection Mandates. She also maintains a general notarial practice in residential real estate.
